Special Situations
Split Kit
If the parties to be tested live at different addresses, we can split the kit and send the kit to each address separately. Since the kits are individually barcode labeled, they will be tested together once the samples arrive back at the laboratory. To order a split kit, simply state “please split this kit” in the comments box of the online order form. Please also indicate which name and address to send each component. Alternatively, you can choose to have the entire kit shipped to you and you can split the kit yourself and send the components to the other parties in the test.
Legal Testing Guarantee
The private test is the best solution for those who need to find out the truth about paternity before deciding on the next step. If, after you receive the results of your private test, decide that you need the legal test, the full cost of the private test will be deducted from the legal testing cost, so you don’t need to pay twice!
Shipping
If orders are placed before 2:00PM PST or 5:00PM ET on business days, they will be shipped out on the same day. However, if orders are received after the aforementioned time or on weekends or holidays, they will be shipped out on the next business day. Please note that business days refer to Monday through Friday, excluding US and Canadian statutory holidays.
Split Kits
In cases where the individuals to be tested reside in separate cities or even different countries, we have the flexibility to divide the testing kit. This allows us to ship the necessary components to each test participant at their respective addresses. Once the samples are returned to the laboratory, they can be tested collectively, regardless of whether they arrive simultaneously. We offer various shipping methods, including ground and overnight services, to accommodate different needs.
International Shipments
We offer shipping services to the majority of countries worldwide. However, it’s important to be aware that additional shipping fees may be applicable for international and overseas shipments. The delivery timeframe for international and overseas shipments cannot be guaranteed, and it’s worth noting that shipments to international destinations may take longer compared to domestic shipments. If you choose the Regular Shipping option for a foreign address, the package’s delivery will depend on the regulations and efficiency of the mail system in that particular country. If you have a specific deadline and need the package to be delivered to an international location by a certain date, kindly reach out to us, and we can provide you with a quote for Express Courier delivery services to the foreign address.
Delivery to Post Office Boxes
When selecting express courier delivery as the shipping method, please ensure that you provide a physical address instead of a PO Box. This is necessary to ensure that a signature can be obtained upon delivery. Express courier services require a physical location for successful delivery and to obtain the recipient’s signature as proof of receipt. Therefore, kindly provide a valid street address to ensure a smooth and secure delivery process.
